Arsenal could be forced to battle Chelsea in their pursuit of AS Roma star Cengiz Under.
It has been recently reported that Unai Emery’s side are prepared to cough up the €50 million asking price that the Serie A club have set for their prized asset.
However, according to claims from Calciomercatoweb, the Blues have emerged as potential suitors for Under as Maurizio Sarri makes plans for the January transfer window.

It’s claimed that Chelsea are prepared to part with a transfer fee of €35 million in their efforts to land the 21-year-old. The London club, according to the report, would also be willing to offer out of favour centre-back Andreas Christensen in a player-plus-cash deal.
Fali Ramadani is now said to represent Under and is well-connected to members of the hierarchy at Chelsea. Calciomercatoweb report that the agent played an important role in helping Sarri to arrive as the club’s new manager in the summer.
Arsenal may now need to ramp up their pursuit of the former Basaksehir star, with competition for his signature heating up.
