Arsenal make Roma’s Under their number one transfer target

Arsenal have reportedly made Roma’s Cengiz Under their key transfer target.

According to Calciomercato, the Gunners’ interest is ‘serious’ and they are looking to bring the Turkish star to the Premier League.

The report claims that Arsenal are ready to lure him to England with a bumper deal that will see his wages spike when compared to the deal he is on in Rome.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to sign Under for some time, but it appears that they are now stepping up their interest.

Unai Emery’s men may, however, be forced into waiting until the summer to get their hands on the winger.

The report claims that Roma are unwilling to lose the player during the January window, making a summer deal far more likely.

Roma have been keen to offer the player a new deal in an attempt to ward off interest from around Europe.

German champions Bayern Munich and Tottenham have also been linked in recent weeks.
