Villarreal not willing to negotiate Fornals exit to Arsenal

Villarreal are not willing to negotiate an exit for Arsenal transfer target Pablo Fornals in January.

According to Sport, via Sport Witness, Villarreal are not prepared to sell Fornals in the next transfer window and will not be speaking to Arsenal about a sale.

The report claims that his release clause is €40m, with Villarreal not willing to budge on that valuation of the midfielder.

Arsenal are thought to be very keen on signing Fornals as a replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who is set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Fornals has been impressing in La Liga for Villarreal this season and has been capped once by Spain this year.

The 22-year-old is one of the most promising midfielders in Europe at the moment and Arsenal have been eyeing him as a potential signing.

However, this latest report from Sport seems to rule out a January switch to The Emirates for Fornals.
