Matteo Guendouzi is holding out for a future call-up from the French national team, despite claims that Morocco will once again try and convince him into switching alliances.
Speaking on Canal Sport, as cited on social media by Late Foot Club, Guendouzi explained his desire to become a French international.

Morocco boss Herve Renard has been an admirer of the midfielder for some time and has previously tried to encourage him into switching.
Guendouzi was born in France but is eligible for Morocco through his family.
The midfielder’s form since arriving at Arsenal has prompted talk that a call-up to the French national team is not far away, but he is yet to get the shout from Didier Deschamps.
He has represented his country at every youth level from U18 all the way through to U21 and is now eagerly anticipating a call from the senior squad in the near future.
