Arsenal are preparing to promote Sven Mislintat to technical director, amidst a wider personnel reshuffle at the club, according to the Independent.
Mislintat was appointed partway through last season, joining from Borussia Dortmund. As such, it is understood that the German was pivotal in pushing for the signings of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Gunners are still readjusting after the losses of Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis last year, with Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham announced as head of football and managing director respectively.

After so long under the old regime, a radical shake-up was always to be expected in the first season under the new order in North London.
New boss Unai Emery has wasted no time seeing his ideas be implemented on the pitch, and various club officials appear to be working tirelessly to ensure everything is moving concurrently off the pitch.
Mislintat and Sanllehi are understood to have a close working relationship, one that may benefit Arsenal further down the line.
