Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on Villarreal’s Pablo Fornals ahead of the January transfer window.
The Mirror reports that Unai Emery has shortlisted the player as a potential replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey.
Fornals, who has impressed in La Liga this season, boasts a £17.8 million release clause in his current deal with Villarreal, making him a potential bargain for the Gunners in the current market.

Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal either in January or at the end of the season on a free transfer after contract talks between both parties stalled.
Attention has quickly turned to how the club will go about replacing the Welsh international, with Emery keen to put his own stamp on the squad.
The Gunners are said to be keen on adding some more creativity in the middle of the park to compliment summer signings Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi, who have both impressed since arriving at the club.
