Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik has been impressing in England’s third division, racking the third highest amount of minutes of any player away from the club while on loan at Charlton Athletic.
Bielik, a 20-year-old Polish centre-back has impressed in League One, scoring twice in nine appearances as the former Legia Warsaw player looks to beat off past injury problems in the third tier.

The Addicks’ plus six goal difference can be attributed at least partly to Bielik who has been solid when called upon.
Bielik also spent time on loan at Birmingham City in the second half of the 2016/17 season, enhancing his reputation as a versatile centre-back renowned for his last-ditch challenges. Often playing on the right of a back three the 20-year-old made 10 appearances for the Blues before returning to North London.
The Konin native has always been highly rated at the Emirates with the club taking to their official academy page to praise the youngster.
A tall, commanding central defender with a calming presence on the ball, Krystian has added great maturity to his game since arriving from Legia Warsaw in 2015. The Poland youth international joined as a defensive midfielder, but has since shown his quality at the heart of defence.
With Konstantinos Mavropanos, Julio Pleguezuelo, Rob Holding and Bielik all on the Gunners books, the future of Arsenal’s defence looks very promising indeed.
