AC Milan have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Medhi Benatia from Juventus.
According to claims from Tuttosport, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, the Serie A giants are keen to land the 31-year-old as Gennaro Gattuso looks to add to his squad in the January transfer window.
Benatia has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal, with his future in Turin coming under scrutiny following his limited involvement this season.

The Moroccan defender has found himself out of the team regularly under Massimiliano Allegri and is reported to be open to an exit from Juve when the transfer window opens.
It’s reported by Tuttosport that potential suitors for Benatia will be able to secure a cut-price deal in January, also. Juventus are said to be willing to accept offers worth only €20 million for the experienced centre-back.
Arsenal may be on the lookout for added defensive quality following their patchy start to the season at the back. However, if they are to pursue Benatia, it seems they’ll need to fend off competition from Milan for his signature.
