# Neymar believes Unai Emery will bring “good things” to Arsenal

Brazilian superstar Neymar has every faith in Unai Emery being a huge success as Arsenal manager.

The 26-year-old played under the Spaniard at Paris Saint-Germain, winning the Ligue 1 title together last season.

[Speaking](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1046069/Arsenal-Unai-Emery-Neymar-Brazil) to reporters ahead of Brazil’s friendly with Uruguay on Friday, Neymar was full of praise for his former boss:

> Now it’s easy to say because Arsenal are playing really great football.

> They are coming from a great run in recent matches and everybody knows he’s a really great coach.

> We know about their quality and I was really happy to work with him because he’s a really hard working guy.

> He really wanted to coach us and really wanted to study about football.

> I think he will bring good things for Arsenal, which is really is a really huge and important club here in England. I wish him luck.

The north Londoners already look a different proposition to the side Arsene Wenger left behind and Neymar’s comments suggest supporters should be excited by Emery’s appointment.
