Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has been explaining how Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil have helped him settle in at the club.
Torreira joined Arsenal in the summer following an impressive campaign at Sampdoria. The midfielder arrived at the Emirates on the back of a strong World Cup showing with Uruguay, also.
In an interview with Arsenal Player, as cited in a report from the Mirror, Torreira opened up on how he has been settling into life in North London.
The enigmatic midfield player discussed how his teammates have helped him to adjust to the changes in his environment and credited Lacazette and Ozil with plenty of praise.

Torreira was quick to hail the influence of the pair and said:
When I arrived at the club they told me that my closet in the locker room was going to be in between Lacazette’s and Ozil’s. I would have never imagined or dreamed of something like that. I am privileged to live all this at the age of 22. It was very hard for me to get where I am now. That’s why it’s so enjoyable.
Torreira also reserved praise for Lacazette and Ozil’s recent displays on the pitch, respectively, as he said:
Mesut and Laca are wonderful players and people. They bring in that quality touch that the team needs. They dictate the tempo in every play of the game. Laca is in great scoring form, which is really important for us.
On the other hand, we know that Mesut is a top player. If you pass him the ball he will hardly ever give it away. He plays with simplicity and he’s got a lot of quality, which makes us very calm.
Uruguay international Torreira will be keen to continue performing at a high level after the international break when Arsenal come up against Bournemouth away from home.
