Juventus will consider January sale of Medhi Benatia

Juventus are reportedly ready to let Medhi Benatia leave the club after falling out of favour.

According to reports in Italy from Calciomercato, the Old Lady are ready to let both Benatia and Andrea Barzagli seek pastures new.

Both players have struggled for game time this season following the return of Leonardo Bonucci, who re-joined the club from Milan just a year after leaving.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with Benatia ahead of the January transfer window.

The Gunners were touted as a potential destination for the Morrocan defender over the summer, but he opted to stay in Turin and fight for his place.

Following the form of both Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, Massimo Allegri is facing a battle to keep all of his defenders happy while juggling regular game time, with Daniele Rugani also linked with a move away from the Serie A champions.

It is yet to be seen if Juventus will let Benatia leave in January or the summer, with both Rugani and Barzagli also likely to attract interest.
