Arsenal and Liverpool are both reportedly keen to sign Club Brugge youngster Cyril Ngonge, who has been catching the eye at youth level.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Premier League duo have been alerted by the striker’s performances in the UEFA Youth League.
The 18-year-old has scored four in four in the youth equivalent of the Champions League.
Various scouts from across Europe are said to be keeping a close eye on his performances, with both Liverpool and Arsenal in the running to sign the striker.
The report claims that Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Lille and Inter Milan have all been watching the player, with his UEFA Youth League performances not going unnoticed by some of Europe’s big hitters.
Given his tender age, Brugge will be desperate to keep hold of the player for as long as possible but they’ll be more than aware that interest will rise if he continues to find the back of the net.
