The report claims that Jose Mourinho has been convinced about the possibility of signing the player, with interest beginning to rise.
Arsenal, Inter and Juventus have all been heavily linked with Andresen in recent weeks.
The Danish defender is catching the eye in Serie A and looks certain to start a bidding war for his services either in January or in the next summer window.
Mourinho has been keen to add another central defender to his ranks for some time having missed out on key targets during the previous window.
