Shkodran Mustafi has hailed the tactical impact that Unai Emery has had on Arsenal since replacing Arsene Wenger.
The German defender has been discussing how life is different at the Emirates following the change of manager over the summer.
As reported by the Independent, Mustafi explains why the Gunners are in a far stronger position now in their new regime.
For me personally the biggest thing was that he is someone who really knows what he wants from each player. He tells you exactly what he wants you to do, but at the same time he gives you freedom.
When we don’t have the ball he tells you exactly where to stand and how to get the ball from the opponent… it is a good mix between freedom but still very disciplined and having the same plan in the whole team, and that is what we saw especially against Liverpool.

Emery has emerged as a huge hit with the fans since taking over in the summer.
Despite a difficult start to the season, in which Emery was not helped by the fixture list, the Spaniard has lead Arsenal on a 14-game unbeaten run, with a place in the top four now looking like a serious possibility for the club this season.
The Gunners have been hailed for their free-flowing football as well as their resilience in tough situations, a trait many argued they lost under Wenger.
Arsenal are six points behind league leaguers Manchester City but are only one point behind Tottenham in fourth.
