Tottenham have joined Arsenal and Liverpool in the pursuit of Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The Mirror reports that Mauricio Pochettino’s men have identified the player as a potential replacement for the out-of-favour Victor Wanyama.
The latter has been heavily linked with a move away from the North London club after finding game time hard to come by, but any sale would leave Spurs in need of a replacement.
Doucoure was heavily linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool over the summer but decided to stay at Watford.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in the player recently, with Watford demanding a fee in the region of £35 million for his services.
The Frenchman caught the eye for Watford last season and has taken that form into the new campaign, with Javi Gracia’s men one of the surprise packages so far.
Should the midfielder continue in a similar vein of form, Watford are likely to face a struggle to keep hold of him.
