Laurent Koscielny could end up playing his football in the Championship with Aston Villa, according to recent reports.
As per claims emerging in Italy, Villa have been named as one of the teams that are in the running to sign the Frenchman.
The experienced defender has fallen out of favour at Arsenal after suffering badly with injuries last season.
He found game time hard to come by during Arsene Wenger’s final few months at the club and is yet to feature under Unai Emery.

The player has since been told that the club will not stand in his way if he looks to pursue a move elsewhere.
He was heavily linked with a return to France over the summer, but no deal materialised.
Marseille were among the teams linked with the player, but it is yet to be seen if they will reignite their interest over the coming months.
A loan move would seem the only viable option for Villa, with wages almost certainly likely to be a problem for the Championship side.
