Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva believes that Arsenal can challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners have fallen slightly behind the leading pack after drawing 2-2 against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in their most recent league match.
Silva also believes that Chelsea and Liverpool will push City for the trophy this year. All three sides are still unbeaten in the league and are looking very strong in all departments.
After losing their opening two matches of the season, the Gunners have won every league match besides against Palace, which has seen them rise into the top four.
And if they keep their form up, Silva believes that they can be in with a shout of the title. As quoted on the Mirror, he said:
Of course, it will be very hard [to win the Premier League]. But we will work every game to get the three points and at the end of it try and celebrate winning one more Premier League.
I think either Chelsea and Liverpool (are contenders), they are very strong, Arsenal as well. Even Tottenham, even though they lost, they’re still contenders.
The midfielder noticeably left out rivals Manchester United, who are in eighth place.
Arsenal could prove their title credentials this weekend as they face undefeated Liverpool.
