Arsenal have been dealt a blow for their clash with Liverpool at the weekend after Mateo Guendouzi was sent off for The Gunners in midweek.
Guendouzi saw red in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Blackpool in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
He was sent off for two bookable offences, meaning that he will now be suspended for Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool.

The Reds travel to The Emirates looking to end Arsenal’s 14-game unbeaten run in all competitions – with Arsenal having won 13 of those 14 matches.
The loss of Guendouzi will come as a blow to Emery’s side – after the midfielder’s impressive start to the season.
Guendouzi has caught the eye since his move to Arsenal in the summer and Liverpool will be glad that they do not have to face up against him this weekend.
