# Lacazette reveals key differences between Wenger and Emery

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has addressed the differences between Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery, the [Daily Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/alexandre-lacazette-reveals-arsene-wenger-13488194) report.

After making the move to the Emirates Stadium last summer, the Frenchman failed to make an instant impact under Wenger and was substituted regularly during his debut season.

However, the 27-year-old has started the current campaign under new boss Emery in fine form, scoring five times and setting up three more in 12 games, including a standout performance against rivals Fulham in a 5-1 win.

Lacazette’s all round performances have come in for plenty of praise from former professionals, including former Gunners striker Ian Wright.

Talking to Wright on Premier League Today, Lacazette was full of praise for Emery and admitted the current squad is working a lot harder compared to last season.

> On the pitch, yeah, we feel differently. \[Working harder?\] Yes because there is more tactics now.

> The coach as well is demanding higher with every player. Yeah I like it. It’s the best way to improve.

> The coach – it doesn’t matter which player it is – will always ask them to be on the top. I think he’s one of the reasons things are going well.

The natural goal scorer also shared a tactical change Emery has made in terms of the Frenchman’s positioning leading the line.

> With Arsene, yes \[wanted me to stay in 18 yard box\].
>
> With Unai it’s different. He wants me to play my game so do more runs behind and come more in the contribution of the game.
