Arsenal have been linked with a move for Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico.
According to claims from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the Gunners have identified the Argentina international as a defensive target.
Tagliafico enjoyed an impressive season in the Eredivisie with Ajax last term and went on to feature for Argentina in their underwhelming World Cup campaign in Russia.

Arsenal are already well-stocked in the left-back department, with Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac at Unai Emery’s disposal. Ainsley Maitland-Niles has also operated on the left-hand side of defence in previous times.
However, with Kolasinac continuing to struggle with injury problems, it seems Arsenal could make a move for a new left-back in January, with Tagliafico the latest name to be touted with a move to the Emirates.
Tagliafico, 26, has made seven appearances in the top-flight of Dutch football this season and has also netted two goals from as many starts in the Champions League for Ajax.
