According to The Telegraph, Arsenal manager Unai Emery believes that Mesut Ozil’s international retirement will help him adapt to the new manager’s style.
Ozil has come under criticism from many recently, with the German not performing to the best of his ability this season.
However, his new manager Emery believes that his retirement from international football will help him as he can spend more time training under the new gaffer’s regime.

Ahead of their Monday Night Football clash against Leicester, with Arsenal looking to get their 10th consecutive win, Emery spoke on Ozil’s international retirement and said.
When the players stop for these games, maybe it can do the focus more for us, with training and improving on things. It could help him find our idea more quickly.
Ozil has undeniable talent and if Emery can get him performing, with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyand and Alexandre Lacazette already hitting world-class form, Arsenal could look like a dark horse in the title race this season.
