Arsenal leading the race to sign Ipswich’s Crowe
Arsenal are now believed to be leading the race to sign young Ipswich defender Dylan Crowe, beating the likes of Manchester United and Dortmund to his signature.
According to a report from the Mirror, as cited on Sports Mole, the Ipswich Town youngster is attracting interest from a number of top clubs.
Manchester United had been linked with Crowe during the summer, but he remained with the Tractor Boys.
It is not just clubs in England that are aware of Crowe’s potential. Both Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have been credited with an interest in the player, as the Bundesliga duo continue to scour England for the best young players.
The 17-year-old is an England youth international and is very highly thought of at the Championship side.
While Crowe is unlikely to be considered a signing for the first-team squad, he would certainly be a name to keep a close eye on going forward.
