Arsenal are leading the race to sign highly regarded Turkey international Cengiz Ünder, according sources cited by Sport Witness.
The 21-year old winger from Roma is widely considered to be one of the most promising talents in Europe, and German giants Bayern Munich are also said to be interested.
The Giallorossi would demand a high fee of £52million to tempt them to part ways with their promising talent, who they signed from İstanbul Başakşehir in 2017.
Başakşehir, as per the transfer agreement, would be set to pocket 20% of any sale for Ünder, which could one of the reasons Roma are likely to demand such a high fee.
The Gunners are looking to improve their wide options, and Ünder would fit Unai Emery’s style of play.
Ünder has already scored twice and assisted three goals so far this season.
