Everton have emerged as the latest Premier League club to express an interest in signing Aaron Ramsey, according to Italian news outlet TMW.
It’s reported that the Toffees are prepared to offer Ramsey a lucrative contract as they bid to beat a host of prestigious European clubs to the Welshman’s signature.
Ramsey looks all but set to depart the Emirates Stadium in the near future, with his contract set to reach its expiration date at the end of the season.
This has prompted plenty of speculation surrounding where Ramsey’s next destination will be, with fresh claims from TMW indicating that Everton could be among the clubs keen to land the midfielder.
Arsenal were believed to have offered Ramsey a contract extension before withdrawing their proposal, casting his future in North London into doubt.
Ramsey has started six matches for Arsenal in the Premier League this season and has made two appearances from the bench under Unai Emery.
