Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has taken the decision to retire from international football, calling time on his career with France.
The experienced centre-back, as reported by GFFN via Twitter, has hung up his boots from international duty following a sequence of injuries that have kept him out of action.

Koscielny has not featured for Arsenal this season and is still working his way back from an Achilles injury, which he sustained towards the end of last season in a Europa League fixture with Atletico Madrid.
The 33-year-old’s absence was not felt by France in the recent World Cup in Russia, as Didier Deschamps’ side went on to win the illustrious international competition.
Koscielny will now be turning his attention towards his rehabilitation from the long-term injury as he bids to force his way into Unai Emery’s plans at the Emirates Stadium.
