Arsenal are eyeing up a swoop for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz in January.
According to The Mirror, via The BBC, Havertz has attracted interest from Arsenal after his performances over the past year.
The 19-year-old has become a regular for Leverkusen in Germany and is regarded as one of the most promising young players in the division.
He has scored four goals in ten appearances in all competitions for Leverkusen this season, after scoring four goals in 35 games last season.
Havertz has made 73 senior appearances for Leverkusen, scoring 12 goals, and was rewarded with a senior cap for Germany last month.
Arsenal will look to make their move in January as they look to bolster their squad for the second half of the season.
Emery’s side are in hot form, but the Spaniard is well aware that there is always room for improvement.
