Arsenal could join the race to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea if Aaron Ramsey departs in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners look resigned to losing Ramsey in the near future, with the Wales international’s contract coming to an end in the summer.
This has seemingly prompted them to make contingency plans in case they cash in on the midfielder in the mid-season transfer window, with Loftus-Cheek the latest player to be linked.

It’s reported by the Daily Mail that the England international has grown frustrated by his shortage of opportunities in the first-team under Maurizio Sarri, leading him to seek pastures new away from Stamford Bridge.
Loftus-Cheek spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace and earned himself a place in Gareth Southgate’s 23-man England squad for the World Cup.
He has since struggled to make an impression at Chelsea, however, and speculation surrounding his future has once again resurfaced, with Arsenal named as potential contenders for his signature.
