Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has returned to full first-team training after recovering from a back spasm, the club’s official website has confirmed.
The Germany international was forced to sit out of the Gunners’ most recent Premier League outing, with the team coming away from Craven Cottage with a 5-1 win against Fulham.
However, it seems the extent of his back injury was not severe, with the midfielder having already returned to training during the international break.

Ozil has played well in recent times under Unai Emery and will be desperate to continue contributing with similar levels of performances in Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League encounter with Leicester City.
Arsenal are currently in scintillating form, having won their last nine competitive fixtures, and will undoubtedly be boosted by the return of one of their most coveted players.
The Gunners will hope to make it 10 wins on the bounce against Leicester, who are likely to now be tasked with keeping Ozil at bay.
