Thierry Henry is hoping to poach Arsenal coach Kwame Ampadu from Arsenal as part of his Monaco backroom staff.
The Daily Mail reports the Frenchman is putting plans in place as he prepares to take over at the Ligue 1 side, with an announcement expected to be made next week.
Ampadu, the father of Chelsea midfielder Ethan Ampadu, has been with the Gunners since 2012.
Henry and Ampadu know each other well having worked together while the former was within the academy structure at the Emirates earlier in his coaching career.

Leonardo Jardim was relieved of his duties at Monaco earlier this week after a poor start to the season.
Henry is the bookies’ favourite to replace Jardim after previously being linked with the Aston Villa job.
The Championship side were keen to hire the former Arsenal striker to replace Steve Bruce, but he opted to turn down the approach.
