# Milan hoping to use Gazidis to sign Ramsey this summer

Ivan Gazidis is hoping that he can play a key role in helping AC Milan beat the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool in the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer.

[According to Corriere dello Sport, as cited on CalcioNews](https://www.calcionews24.com/ramsey-rabiot-calciomercato-milan-gazidis/), the Milan board are targetting a move for the Welshman, who is likely to be available on a free transfer this summer.

The Italian giants are hoping to utilise Gazidis’ links with his former side to sign Ramsey at the end of his contract at the club.

Talks over a new deal have fallen through and the player is set to leave the club in either the January or summer transfer window.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea are all being linked with moves to sign the player, while the likes of Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also believed to be keen.

Arsenal may prefer for the player to move abroad, rather than lose him to a Premier League rival but they may not be able to prevent such a move from happening.
