Arsenal manager Unai Emery has reportedly told the club to complete a deal to sign Ever Banega from Sevilla.
Mundo Deportivo report that the Gunners boss is keen to link up with the Argentinian midfielder in London.
Banega was heavily linked with a move to London during the summer and now Emery is ready to try his luck again, as he goes in search of a replacement for Aaron Ramsey.
The Gunners are preparing for life without the Welshman, who looks set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season, or quite possibly as early as January.
It is yet to be seen if Banega would be interested in a move away from Sevilla after impressing this season.
The report claims that the player is waiting to see if the club will offer him an improved deal, which could be the deciding factor in whether or not he stays in La Liga.
