Real Madrid are the latest team to be linked with a move to sign Aaron Ramsey, with reports claiming they could hold an advantage over other potential suitors.
TEAMtalk claims that the Spanish giants hope to use Gareth Bale in an attempt to lure the Welsh midfielder to the Bernabeu.
The Welshman’s contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the season and with talks between the club and the player now shelved, he looks certain to be moving on.
Arsenal would like to sell Ramsey in the January transfer window to ensure that they get a fee for him, but the 27-year-old is in no rush to make a decision about his future.
It was reported last week that he was keen to work with Jurgen Klopp and join his friend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Anfield but the Reds will now face competition for his signature from one of the biggest clubs on the planet.
Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester United are also believed to be keeping a close eye on his situation.
