Unai Emery was coy in his response to questions over Aaron Ramsey’s future at the club.
Speaking to reporters at his pre-match press conference, as reported by the London Evening Standard, Emery explained that in his eyes, every player is an important part of his squad.
Reports emerged earlier this week that suggested that Welsh international was set to leave the club this summer.
There are three aspects: the player and their family, the club, and the team. My focus is on the team, preparing with every player only thinking for the match tomorrow. Each player has individual aspects to work on or to speak with the club or the team.
He went on to add:
Every player is very important. I consider each player’s space important in the squad.
With just months left on his contract at the club, it is now being reported that the Gunners could cash in on the midfielder to avoid losing him for nothing at the end of the campaign.
Juventus, Milan, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the player in the past.
Ramsey will be free to speak to potential suitors about a move abroad in January should he wish to run down the remaining months of his deal at the club.
