Emile Smith Rowe to start against Brentford
Unai Emery is reportedly ready to give Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Rowe his full debut for the club against Brentford on Wednesday night.
The Mirror report that Smith Rowe is set to be named among the starting XI against the Championship high flyers, with Emery looking to rotate his squad.
Smith Rowe was one of Arsenal’s star performers during their pre-season campaign, impressing in a new-look Gunners side under Emery.
Arsenal fans will be quick to remember the brilliant goal he scored against Atletico Madrid that instantly saw him draw comparisons to a young Jack Wilshere.
Emery is said to rate the player very highly and is therefore keen to give him minutes within the first-team set up as quickly as possible.
After impressing during pre-season, Smith Rowe put pen to paper on a new deal at the club and has been a regular within the club’s academy side.
