Arsenal have shown an interest in signing winger Ismaila Sarr from Rennes, according to a report from John Cross of The Mirror.
The 20-year-old is also a target for Inter Milan, with the Serie A giants scouting him on numerous occasions.
Rennes are keen to keep hold of the Senegalese international but it is widely reported that bids of around £20m would be enough to entice them to sell.
According to Cross, the winger caught the eye of plenty of scouts whilst playing for Senegal at the World Cup and there are expected to be even more clubs interested in him come January.
Whilst Arsenal aren’t exactly short of wide players, the chance to sign a player who is being tipped by many to be the next big star of African football for a relatively small transfer fee could be too good an opportunity to turn down if Rennes do decide to sell.
