Arsenal and Manchester United will now face competition from Barcelona in the hunt to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
Mundo Deportivo have reported that the player is of some interest to the club amid speculation he could move on from the Ligue 1 side.
Pepe has attracted a wealth of interest in recent months, with both Arsenal and Manchester United interested in bringing him to the Premier League.

The latter have reportedly had scouts keeping a close eye on the player, with interest beginning to mount.
Lille rejected offers for the player this summer, but face interest from potential suitors in the next transfer windows.
Arsenal may feel they hold an advantage, with regular game time far more likely to happen at the Emirates than compared against both Barcelona or Manchester United.
Southampton had a bid rejected for the player during the summer but may feel they have limited chances of signing the winger now due to the competition involved.
