The report, via Tribal Football, suggests that City are looking at a deal for the Spanish U21 full back, with Pep Guardiola sending scouts to watch the defender in the opening weeks of the season.

Junior Firpo is a versatile player, who can also play in the centre of defence and even more up front as a winger.
Arsenal are also looking at a deal for the Spanish youngster, who was born in the Dominican Republic. The Gunners considered making a serious bid for the defender in the Summer.
Firpo extended his contract last month at Real Betis. HIs new deal will run to 2023, with a buyout clause of €60m for any club looking at signing the defender.
