Germany manager Joachim Loew has claimed that not selecting Mesut Ozil is not an issue.
Loew has hinted that there are no plans to bring Ozil back at any point, after the midfielder decided to make himself unavailable for Germany.
Ozil released a statement after the World Cup claiming that he felt he was being made a scapegoat for Germany’s poor tournament.
He claimed that Germany’s football federation and fans were racist to him due to his Turkish roots.

The Arsenal midfielder has been capped 92 times for his country and won the World Cup.
As quoted by The Daily Mail, Loew said this:
Ozil clearly resigned so it’s not an issue.
Mesut decided to go another way.
Ozil is closing in on his 200th appearance for Arsenal in all competitions, currently sat on 199.
He has been with the Gunners since 2013 – when he joined from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
