Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has been given a deadline to make a decision on his future, with a €4 million offer from AC Milan on the table.
According to reports in Italy, as cited on Calciomercato, the Serie A side are stepping up their interest in the Arsenal man, but no official decision has been made by Gazidis yet.
Milan’s new owners, the Elliott Management fund, have been keen to bring Gazidis to the club and are offering a big pay rise in order to make the move to Italy.
The report claims that Gazidis is considering the offer, but time is running out for the Serie A side.
They need to present their new club structure to UEFA, which they hope Gazidis will be a part of.
It is also being claimed that should Gazidis reject the move, they have earmarked Roma’s Umberto Gandini.
Gazidis has often been an unpopular figure at the club for the role he played during the latter stages of Arsene Wenger’s time in London.
