Arsenal are one Neymar’s preferred next destinations if he leaves PSG

Both Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with a move to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, but it appears that the player may have his eyes on a different Premier League club.

According to a report from the Express, a source close to the player says that the only way Neymar would move to the Premier League would be to join Arsenal or Chelsea as he would want to live in London.

The Express report that the PSG star has said either of those to clubs would be his preferred destination if he did ever decide to make a move to England.

The former Barcelona star loves the English capital and has made no secret about how much time he likes spending there.

The source said:

He loves England – but mainly London. He has been there three or four times in the last 12 months. He says there is always something about London. The last time he kept ringing me up and begging me to join him because he loved it so much. He kept saying ‘this place is amazing, this place is amazing’. He just loves London.

Neymar is contracted with PSG until 2022 but he’s likely to leave before then. Whether Arsenal would be willing to splash the cash to get him remains to be seen, but it looks like he’d be interested in the move.
