Arsenal secured their first away win of the new Premier League season on Sunday afternoon as they defeated Cardiff City in a dramatic 3-2 win.

The Gunners headed into the game following a 3-1 home win against West Ham last weekend. Cardiff, meanwhile, were looking to improve on their 0-0 away draw at Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.

Arsenal took the lead in the first-half as Shkodran Mustafi powered home a header in fine fashion. On the stroke of half-time, however, the Bluebirds equalised courtesy of on-loan midfielder Victor Camarasa.

Unai Emery’s men were back in front after the restart, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang curling home a fine long-distance effort after impressive interplay from Arsenal’s attacking players.

Cardiff again bounced back, though, as Jamie Ward dispatched a header with immaculate accuracy. The Gunners eventually settled in the closing stages and took all of the spoils as Alexandre Lacazette spun past his marker to smash beyond the reach of Neil Etheridge.

Emery and his men will come away from Wales satisfied with their win. Here are our Arsenal player ratings.
