Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson is set to leave the club to join Hoffenheim on a season-long loan deal, Sport Witness reports.
German outlet Bild reports that the deal to take Nelson to Germany is almost done, with just the player’s personal terms needing to be agreed.
Nelson’s contract at Arsenal was due to expire in June 2019 but the Gunners have opted to extend his deal in order to prevent him leaving the club for free next summer.
The youngster is one of the most promising talents at both Arsenal and within English football and there is a host of excitement in Germany amongst Hoffenheim fans over the possible deal for Nelson.
Despite the European transfer window closing this Friday Hoffenheim were thought to be done in the transfer market, however a loan deal for Nelson now looks inevitable.
