Arsenal consider January move for Dembélé

Arsenal are considering making an offer for Celtic striker Moussa Dembélé in January, according to reports.

The Gunners haven’t got off to the greatest start in the current Premier League campaign, having lost their opening two games to Manchester City and Chelsea.

While there is nothing to panic about yet, coach Unai Emery is already eyeing up potential reinforcements for the winter window who could add further strength in depth to his squad.

And according to French outlet La Provence, reported on by Mirror Sport, the London club are targeting the 22-year old Frenchman.

Dembélé has long been considered one of the brightest young talents in European football, and he has frequently been linked with a move back to England, having signed for the Hoops from Fulham in 2016.

French Ligue 1 side Marseille have also been linked with a move for the talented youngster, and could yet make a move this summer, but Celtic are unlikely to sanction a move so late on in the transfer window.

That will allow Arsenal to prepare an offer to ensure they get their man in the winter window, should they decide to shore up their interest.
