Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot has reportedly turned down a contract offer from the French side.
According to L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 champions have been looking to tie down the player on a long-term deal, but the midfielder is refusing to pen to paper.
The player’s current deal in Paris expires at the end of the season and he will be free to speak to clubs about a move in the new year.
Rabiot has been linked with moves to both Arsenal and Barcelona throughout the summer.
The French midfielder has been a long-term target for the Gunners, with Arsene Wenger previously a known admirer of Rabiot.
It is believed that were also some interest from the club this summer, with Unai Emery looking to add to his midfield options.
The French club were interested in a deal to sign N’Golo Kante from Chelsea this summer, and it was suggested that Rabiot could be moved on if the player was signed, but he opted to remain at Stamford Bridge.
