Emil Forsberg will remain at RB Leipzig for the immediate future, according to the Swede’s agent.
Arsenal had earmarked the attacking midfielder as one of their summer transfer targets, but were unable to complete a deal before Thursday’s English deadline.

Inside Futbol claim that the player’s representative substantiated rumours he had met with the Bundesliga club:
Yes, I can confirm the meeting.
We talked about Emil’s future.
Emil has a contract here until 2022.
And he does not want to leave Leipzig this summer.
The World Cup star has stood out in Leipzig’s team as a creative force, and had also attracted interest from Serie A giants Milan.
With the transfer window still open in Europe, I Rossoneri could yet bring the 26-year-old to the San Siro – in spite of his agent’s comments.
Arsenal will have to wait until January if they want to sign Forsberg on a permanent deal.
