Arsenal have received an injury boost ahead of their opening league tie against Manchester City.
The Gunners begin the new season on Sunday when they host the defending champions, and will be pleased to welcome Aaron Ramsey into the fold.
The Wales international was a concern for the clash, having sustained a calf injury against Chelsea during pre-season, but has successful fully recovered in time to face City.
Ramsey returned to light training on Tuesday and took part in Thursday’s session, having missed out on the final two games of pre-season for Arsenal. Now it is believed that he will be able to line-up for the club this weekend.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles is expected to feature at left-back on Sunday, with Nacho Monreal a doubt, and Sead Kolasinac definitely out.
