Arsenal have seen their approach for AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez turned down.
According to The Mirror, AC Milan have rejected Arsenal’s offer for Rodriguez, as they look to keep hold of their first-choice left-back.
The report claims that Rodriguez was not even able to speak to Arsenal about a potential move to England, with Milan not willing to let him leave the San Siro.
Arsenal are looking to land a left-back before Thursday’s 5pm deadline after an injury to Nacho Monreal.

Rodriguez joined AC Milan from Wolfsburg last summer for a deal in the region of €17m.
There is no mention of the fee that Arsenal have offered for the Swiss international.
The 25-year-old made 47 appearances for Milan last season, scoring four goals from defence.
He also made 185 appearances in six years at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga and has been capped 57 times by Switzerland at international level.
