Arsenal are keen to sign Everton and Liverpool target Domagoj Vida after allowing Callum Chambers to leave on loan.
The London Evening Standard reports that the defender is set to join the Whites on loan in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Chambers remains highly thought of by new boss Unai Emery and has been heavily involved throughout pre-season, but the manager wants to the young defender to regular game time under his belt.
Fulham are still in the market for a central defender, despite signing Alfie Mawson from Swansea.
The latter will be ruled out of the first three Premier League games through injury, meaning Chambers is likely to be drafted straight into their starting XI.

Vida is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League after a standout World Cup campaign and the talk about his possible move has seen him fly into the top five of the Transfer Hound‘s hot-o-meter.
He played a key role in helping Croatia reach the World Cup final in Russia, with Besiktas now hoping to cash in on the player.
