# Agency deny Ramsey is asking for huge contract demands

Avid Sports and Entertainment Group have denied that Aaron Ramsey is demanding a salary in the region of £300,000 a week at Arsenal.

[As reported by the Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/999305/Arsenal-Transfer-News-Aaron-Ramsey-Agency-Contract), the agency, of which Ramsey is a part of, took to Twitter to deny claims that the Welshman midfielder is asking for big money after being quizzed by Arsenal fans.

Ramsey’s contract situation has surrounded the club throughout the summer, with it still no clearer whether or not the player will put pen to paper on a new deal at the Emirates.

The midfielder has been tentatively linked with moves to both Chelsea and Liverpool so far this summer.

Unai Emery is keen to keep hold of the player and build his new-look Arsenal squad around the Welsh midfielder.

Ramsey is entering the final months of his contract with the club and could leave for nothing next summer if he does not re-sign.
