Arsenal reportedly keen on Jerome Boateng

Arsenal and Manchester United are both reportedly keen to make late respective swoops for Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng.

The Germany international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena this summer and according to claims from Kicker, Arsenal have emerged as potential suitors.

Boateng has already been linked with a whole host of clubs across Europe’s top leagues, with Ligue 1 giants PSG also believed to be interested in a deal for the player.

However, Arsenal are the latest side to be named as a potential destination for Boateng, who could be set to leave Bayern this summer.

The Bundesliga champions are well-stocked with options in the centre of defence but are not willing to let the former Manchester City defender leave for any less than a premium price.

According to claims from Kicker, Bayern are ready to demand a fee worth at least €50 million for the experienced central defender this summer.
